Dinner with anyone in history
If I could have dinner with anyone in history? I think it would have to be Winston Churchill. He was an amazing man. I'm sure everyone's heard of him. Prime Minister of Britain during World War II? He also served in the British army, writing reports from the field, before he went into politics. And he wrote lots of books, from campaign reports to the history of World War I and World War II. He helped get Britain, and most of the world, through one of its darkest moments. When you think about it--watching Europe fall to the Germans--it's hard to imagine what that was like, how frightening it must have been. Up until now I would have said it's hard to imagine a war on that scale, but now we really are facing our own dark moment. Anyway, Churchill was around to see some important moments in history, events that shaped the world as we know it today.

Not to mention that he was a real smartass. I would just love to sit and share some bourbon with the man. And just listen.

Oh, and by the way, Malcolm, before you start getting all British and smug on me, his mother was *American*. Just in case you didn't know.
